After landing at Ivato International Airport in Antananarivo, your private Away to Africa driver will transport you to your lodging.

Travel to Morondava
Wednesday, july 2, 2025
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Morondava, a town on Madagascar’s west coast.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and escorted to your hotel located right by the beach. Unwind as you enjoy a lovely sunset.

DAY 3
Drive to Tsingy of Bemaraha
Thursday, july 3, 2025
Early morning departure for a whole day drive to Tsingy of Bemaraha.
You will stop for a hearty lunch in Belo sur Tsiribihina, a small village known for being the cradle of the Menabe Sakalava Kingdom, before proceeding to your scenic lodging. Relax by the pool as you spot the unique flora and fauna.

DAY 4
Grand Tsingy
Friday, july 4, 2025
Today you will spend the whole day at the Grand Tsingy. You will visit the limestone forest passing through several hanging bridges with the impressive karstic formations below your feet.
Afterwards, relax and enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. In the afternoon, visit the Petit Tsingy for two viewpoints over the impressive pinnacles, known for having the best sunset views. This is also a good opportunity to spot the Decken’s sifaka and red-fronted brown lemurs.

DAY 5
Baobab Avenue
Saturday, july 5, 2025
Today you will drive back to Morondava town via Belo sur Tsiribihina where you’re scheduled to have lunch.
Stop at the sacred Baobab, the Baobabs in love, and then at the most spectacular Baobab Avenue at sunset for memorable photo-ops. Retire to your hotel afterwards.

DAY 6
Betany Fishing Village
Sunday, july 6, 2025
Morning departure by dugout canoe to Betany, an attractive little fishermen’s village to enjoy unique photo-ops of the mangrove forest and local people’s daily activities, such as fishing and boat construction.
Afterwards, transfer to Morondava airport to catch your flight back to Tana.

Nosy Be
Monday, july 7, 2025
Early morning transfer to Tana airport for your flight to Nosy Be Island. The name Nosy Be means “Big Island”, and was formed by volcanoes, therefore contains numerous craters and crater lakes.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and escorted to your hotel located right by the beach.

DAY 8
Day Excursion at Tanikely Island
Tuesday, july 8, 2025
After breakfast, depart from the hotel and short boat crossing to Tanikely Island. Here, you will snorkel, relax on the beach, visit the lighthouse and then back to Nosy Komba for lunch.
Afterwards, you will visit the village and park before heading back to the hotel.

Depart Nosy Be & City Tour of Tana
Friday, july 11, 2025
Today we will leave Nosy Komba and cross to Nosy Be by speed boat, then take a vehicle to the airport for your flight back to Tana.
On arrival in Tana, you will partake in a city walking tour where you will visit the Queen’s Palace and Andafiavaratra Museum, while taking in the unique panoramic views of Tana and its surrounding from the top of the city.

DAY 12
Lemurs Park
Saturday, july 12, 2025
After breakfast,you will drive to lemurs park and discover 9 species of lemurs and a botanical park with approximately hundreds of trees and endemic plants in Madagascar.
Afterwards, you will go souvenir shopping at a craft market and visit an art gallery.
