Start your tour in Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves, to view the big five, before transferring to Lamu, the oldest and best-preserved Swahili settlement in all of East Africa for a unique yoga festival with a focus on great yoga, wellbeing, peace and harmony.
A variety of yoga classes and meditations — for all levels — will be offered over five days at 12 unique venues and studios. From early-bird yoga on the beach to meditation under the moon, the festival offers something for everyone, from experienced practitioners, newbies, to the curious souls and everything in between. Travel to Maasai Mara
Sunday – October 27, 2024
Early morning pick up at your hotel and depart to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, driving through the spectacular Great Rift Valley via Narok town.

Monday – October 28, 2024
Spend the morning exploring the Maasai community by visiting a Maasai village, before viewing the exceptional population of Maasai lions, African leopards and cheetahs on this Safari.

Depart Maasai Mara to Lamu via Nairobi
Tuesday – October 29, 2024
Today you will depart from Maasai Mara to Nairobi. Upon your arrival into Nairobi, transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Lamu Island.

Explore Lamu | Day 1 of Yoga Fest
Wednesday – October 30, 2024
Walk the cobblestone alleyways of Lamu, learn Swahili and the history and culture of the island that is known for its serenity – and absence of cars. Join other visitors for the first day of the opening ceremony and welcome yoga.

Day 2 of Yoga Fest
Thursday – October 31, 2024
Sleep in or start your day early with ‘Early Rise Yoga’ along the beachfront before enjoying a full day of optional yoga classes. Afterwards, head to the oceanfront for a Swahili Dinner.

Day 3 of Yoga Fest

Dancing & Drumming Lessons | Day 4 of Yoga Fest

Sail Away | Day 5 Yoga Fest
Sunday – November 3, 2024
Option for Early Bird Yoga and meditation before the Lamu Yoga Fest closing ceremonies. Afterwards, set sail on the Hippo Dhow & Monangu Dhow.

Depart Lamu Nairobi Home
