Arrival to Egypt
Monday – February 9, 2026
Upon your arrival into Cairo International Airport, you will be met by your person Away to Africa representative who will assist you with purchasing your Egypt Visa On Arrival.
Afterwards you will transfer to your lodging with an option for a spa depending on your arrival time.

DAY 2
Monuments of Egypt & Camel Riding
Tuesday – February 10, 2026
Today you will explore Cairo to view the monuments including one of the Seven Wonders of the World which include:
- The Pyramids of Giza
- The Sphinx
- Grand Egyptian Civilization Museum
- Camel Ride or ATV Riding at Giza Pyramids
- Visit Kufre & Menkaure
- E Market Shop

DAY 3
Explore Cairo II
Wednesday – February 11, 2026
Today you will continue getting acclimated to Cairo as you visit:

DAY 4
Travel to Aswan
Thursday – February 12, 2026
Today you shall Fly to Aswan, a small city in southern Egypt that offers a glimpse into the rich and diverse Nubian culture.

Abu Simbel
Friday – February 13, 2026
Today you shall visit the twin temples of Abu Simbel, one of Egypt’s most striking monuments sitting on the bank of Lake Nasser, built by Ramesses II over 3000 years ago.

DAY 6
Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
Saturday – February 14, 2026
Today you shall head to Luxor to visit Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples which are part of several temples built during the Ptolemaic Kingdom.

Luxor and Karnak Temples
Sunday – February 15, 2026
Today you shall explore the Luxor and Karnak Temples which are awe-inspiring religious sites that were built and expanded over a period of more than 1500 years.

DAY 8
Valley of the Queens
monday – February 16, 2026
Today you will explore the Valley of the Queens and Hatshepsut Temple, a memorial temple that honors Queen Hatshepsut and is also one of the greatest Egyptian Architectural achievements.

DAY 9
Siwa
Tuesday – February 17, 2026
Today you shall depart Luxor to Siwa via Cairo. With a mixture of cold and hot springs, massive sand dunes, and incredible history, Siwa has so much to offer.
Check into your accommodation for some rest and relaxation.

DAY 10
Shali Fortress
Wednesday – February 18, 2026
After Breakfast, you shall visit Shali Fortress (Old Town). Lunch at the downtown will follow before taking in the sunset with some snacks at Taghagheen Island.
End your day with a visit to a hot spring camp before enjoying dinner and returning to your lodge.

DAY 11
Gabal El Mawta & Alexander the Great Temple
thursday – February 19, 2026
After breakfast, you shall visit Gabal El Mawta, meaning “Mountain of the Dead” containing tombs and Alexander the Great Temple.
Have lunch before enjoying the Salt lakes experience with some snacks.

DAY 12
Day In The Desert
Friday – February 20, 2026
After breakfast, you shall head out to the desert on a safari for a picnic lunch, a visit to Beir Wahed, a hot springs near a cold lake, then sand boarding and sunset snacks on the high dunes in the desert.
Afterwards you shall head back to Cairo.

Relaxation
