Arrive in Africa and Unwind
Thursday – January 2, 2025
Travel to the border crossing of Lomé as we travel to Togo.
Relax and wind down with a drumming performance and dinner on the beach.

DAY 2
Snake Temple, Sacred Forest & Door Of No Return
Friday – January 3, 2025
After breakfast you will cross the border into Benin where you will visit Snake Temple.
Afterwards you will retrace the last steps of enslaved Africans in the Sacred Forest before visiting the Door of No Return.

DAY 3
Ganvié Stilt Village and Traditional Beninise Cuisine
Friday – January 4, 2025
The morning visit to the Stilt Village of Ganvié in the center of Lake Noukoé will be for sure one of the most unforgettable moments of this trip. Enjoy lunch in Ganvie before heading back to town.

DAY 4
Février Fetish Market, Slave House and Traditional Village
Saturday – January 5, 2024
Today we will travel back into Togo.
Upon your arrival into Togo, you will explore the Akodessewa fetish market, and the slave market of Agbodrafo. Afterwards, you will take a boat ride for a village tour of Togoville on Lake Togo. Then, visit the Cathedral and Chief Palace at Cotonou – a secret slave house operated by chiefs and slave masters – in Agbodrafo.

Museum, Shopping & Depart Mama Africa
Sunday – January 6, 2025
This morning you will visit the National Museum & the Arts Centre and central market for a bit of shopping before your departure.
