How do I make a deposit?
You can secure your seat with a deposit of $250.00 per person for all Away To Africa Tours scheduled for 2023 and 2024. In order to make your deposit, find your trip and then select “RESERVE YOUR SEAT” when making your booking. This will lead you to We-travel, our third party reservation platform where you will make your deposit.

When is the balance due??
Full payment is due 90 days prior to your departure date. If you sign up for a payment plan you will make all payments using our third party platform, We-Travel.
You will receive reminders before your payment is due. If you fail to pay for travel in full 60 days prior to trip departure. Your balance (less any admin fees or fees paid towards the trip) is transferable to another trip or you will receive a refund.

I want a private room, do I need to pay the single supplement when making a trip deposit?
No, you do not have to pay the single supplement when securing your seat with a deposit. When making a trip deposit all travelers, single and shared occupancy, must make an initial payment of $250.00. Travelers who choose a “Single – No Share” room, will find this supplemental amount already incorporated into their payments for their trip.

I still have questions about a few things on the tour. Can I talk to someone before booking?

I would like to book a shared occupancy room but I am a solo traveler. Does Away to Africa pair roommates?
If you would like to book a shared occupancy room, Away to Africa will confirm if there are other solo travelers on the tour seeking a shared occupancy roommate. We will pair you with a traveler of the same sex. If there are no solo travelers 60 days prior to scheduled travel date, you must pay for a single occupancy/supplement travel.
