After landing at the Kotoka International Airport, your private Away to Africa driver will transport you to your lodging in Accra.

DAY 2
Pan Africanism & Arts In Accra
Sunday – June 15, 2025
Explore the streets of Accra to indulge in Ghana’s history and some shopping. Travel to the W.E.B. Dubois Memorial Centre for Pan African Culture to learn of the Pan African influence throughout the Diaspora.
Your tour will also include a trip to:
- Independence Square
- Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum
- W.E. Dubois Centre
- Cultural Center
Afterwards, travel to a few art studios of local Ghanaian artistes.

DAY 3
Cape Coast, Kakum National Park & Naming Ceremony
Monday – June 16, 2025
Today you will spend your day traveling to Cape Coast where you will start the day at Kakum National Park, walking on a canopy walkway in the middle of a rainforest.
Afterwards you will visit Cape Coast Castle. Listen to stories tracing the steps of African ancestors before their brutal voyage to the West.
The naming ceremony with drumming and dancing will follow. You will be given a local Ghanaian name and become part of the community while taking part in the ceremonial activities:
