After arriving the Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Zanzibar, Tanzania (TNZ), relax, unwind and take in the amazing breeze of this beautiful island once referred to as zang-bâr signifying “Black Coast’.
Enjoy the evening relaxing on your beachfront property as you take in the sunset of the beautiful East African sun over the ocean.

DAY 2
Zanzibar Culture + Culinary Experience
Friday – December 23, 2022
After breakfast you will begin your day in Stone Town and learn the history of Zanzibar serving as a transit for Africans during the East African Slave Trade.
Afterwards you will travel into townfor your Spice Tour and an intimate cooking class with a few Women in the community.

Today is a day made for Relaxation with the option to book a massage at Z Hotel or Hilton.

DAY 4
Safari Blue Tour & COVID Tests
Sunday – December 25, 2022
After breakfast you will take your Covid Tests and then for the remainder of the day you will relax on the beautiful blue sea as you spend the day on the water.
We hope you are prepared to swim as today you will go snorkeling on our guided, Safari Blue Tour. Travel to sandbanks that disappear upon sunset. View the beautiful coral and fish as you snorkel and swim in the beautiful sea.
Afterwards, you will have a special seafood lunch prepared on an island before heading to the natural lagoon and heading back to shore.

DAY 5
Namkelekili Mzantsi (Welcome to South Afrika)

Today you will travel to the heart of South Africa, Johannesburg.
After landing at O.R. Tambo International Airport, your private Away to Africa driver will transport you to your accommodations.

DAY 6
Revolution in Johannesburg & South African Party
Tuesday – December 27, 2022
Enjoy breakfast this morning and prepare for a day in the heart of Jo’burg, Soweto.
You will learn the history of Apartheid at the Apartheid Museum and then head to Soweto to explore Hector Pieterson Museum and Nelson Mandela’s home.
Have dinner at an upscale restaurant in the heart of Johannesburg and dance the night away listing to South African House and Amapiano.

DAY 7
Dinokeng Game Reserve
Wednesday – December 28, 2022
Today we will drive to Dinokeng Game Reserve. Enjoy a day of viewing Africa’s Lions, Leopards, Rhinos, Tigers and Buffalos. View a variety of animals who make their home in the Game Reserve such as giraffes, zebras, and springbok.
This evening we will take a flight into Cape Town.

DAY 8
Robben Island & Bike Ride in Langa
thursday – December 29, 2022
Today you will spend your day on a cultural excursion visiting Robben Island, the jail where Nelson Mandela was once held as prisoner and Robert Sobukwe Memorial.
Afterwards you will have the option to ride into the town of Langa for a bicycle tour throughout Langa Township. Then enjoy a heartwarming meal while listening to music and the history of Langa.

Table Mountain & Wine Vineyards

This morning you will take a cable cart up Table Mountain.
Afterwards you will travel to the beautiful city of Stellenbosch for wine tasting.

Welcoming 2023 & COVID tests

Spend the day relaxing and sleeping in late. Depending on the time of your departure flight, you will take a Covid Test this morning.
In the afternoon you will take a drive down Chapman’s Peak to take in the beautiful backdrop of Cape Town.
