The main island of Zanzibar is identified as Unguja or Stone Town and the second large island is known as Pemba.Zanzibar City is the Capital of Zanzibar and home to Stone Town, a World Heritage Site and historically referenced as the trade center for the East African Slave Trade.In addition to Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches, Stone Town is known for its winding lanes, carved doorways and 19th-century landmarks such as the House of Wonders, a former sultan’s palace.

Day 1 | Arrive to Zanziber & Unwind!

Welcome to Zanzibar! Relax, Unwind and take in the amazing breeze of this beautiful island before we take a sunset evening cruise with the African sunset over the Indian Ocean.

You will have the evening to unwind and take in South Africa’s fresh air.

Day 2 | Spice Town & Stone Tour

After breakfast on the rooftop of your hotel, smell, taste and learn of the various fruit and spices of Zanzibar at Spice Tour. Afterwards enjoy a historical tour through Stone Town.

Day 3 | Safari Blue Tour

Southwest of the island we will head to Fumba Village for snorkeling on our guided, Safari Blue Tour. Observe the beautiful fish and coral in the clear blue ocean before the sandbar disappears upon sunset. Enjoy dinner at the infamous ‘The Rock’ restaurant.

Day 4 | Dolphin Tour, Nashukuru & Nungwi

Swim with dolphins in Kizimkazi before shopping for jewelry, fabrics and souvenirs at Nashukuru. Lodge at a bungalow overlooking the water north coast to the town of Nungwi for the evening.

Day 5 | Sherehe Ya Ufu (Beach Party)

Today is a day for relaxation and fun as we spend the afternoon enjoying the sun and listening to music for our Away to Africa Beach Party.

Day 6 | Mount Kilimanjaro

Karibu Tanzania! View Kilimanjaro before heading to Arusha where you will enjoy an authentic Tanzanian dinner before resting for the evening.

Day 7 | Safari at Lake Manyara National Park

Explore Lake Manyara National Park, known for its pink flamingos and home to more than 400 species of birds and also leopards, Masai lions, cheetahs, elephants, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelles, hippos, Masai giraffes, impalas and zebras.

Day 8 | Safari at Serengeti National Park
