Welcome to Kenya! Relax, walk through the City Center and take in the African sunset upon your arrival into Nairobi.

Day 2 | Giraffe Park & Art

Take in sites and maybe even kisses from giraffes at Giraffe Park before we head to African Heritage House, home to the largest collection of traditional African art.

Day 3 | Karura Forest & Masai Market

Bicycle through one of the largest forests in the world within a city, Karura Forest and visit the Masai Market before enjoying a night of dancing and eating a traditional cuisine.

Day 4 | Maasai Mara Village & Community Outreach

Travel west of Nairobi to Maasai Mara Village where you will learn the culture, sing and dance before participating in our Community Outreach Program.

Day 5 | Maasai Mara National Reserve & Safari

Spend the morning exploring the Maasai community before viewing the exceptional population of Maasai lions, African leopards and Tanzanian cheetahs at the Safari.

Day 6 | Kisumu & Rain Forest

Climb to the top of Kit Mikayu, visit the Equator and dance with traditional Rainmen in the forest while in Kisumu!

Day 7 | Mombassa

Explore Kenya’s second largest city as we visit Fort Jesus Museum and relax on Bamburi beach to listen to music and watch the sunset.

Day 8 | Night in Nairobi

Visit the Gedi Ruins in Mombasa before heading back to Nairobi. Relax or spend the night out on town with our Away to Africa family.

Day 9 | Lovely Lamu

Take a boat ride from the airport to inland as we arrive to Lamu. Definitely one of our favorite cities in Africa, relax for the evening in this quaint city.

Day 10 | Island Hop in Lamu

Awaken to prayers over loudspeakers from the Mosque as we travel to a few of Lamu’s islands, eat fresh fish and fruits and relax.

Wake up early for an optional class of yoga and breakfast before we depart for your flight to Jomo Kenyatta International airport in Nairobi and continuing to your final destination.

All Jamaican passport holders who possess a valid, up to date Passport which does not expire within the six (6) months from date of travel, can enter Kenya without a Visa.

All American, Canadian, and British passport holders who possess a valid, up to date Passport which does not expire within the six (6) months from date of travel, can obtain a Visa online.

Required Vaccinations: Yellow Fever Vaccination is not required to enter into Kenya.
